The objective of the Westmar website redesign is to revamp the user experience and enhance its visual appeal to meet current standards and remain competitive. Westmar is a large brokerage with an existing and significant information structure, hence it was important that we based our design decision tailored to meet these demands. Our UI and UX redesigns centralized the importance of reducing visual clutter and the easy translation of content for the development team to ensure a lasting redesign, while minimizing downtime.
How can Westmar's website redesign achieve a visually appealing, compelling, and user-friendly interface that reduces clutter, facilitates data-driven content, that also minimizes downtime for the development team?
The main focus of our research study was to evaluate the effectiveness of existing strategies within the Westmar website, through the visual and experiential designs. The findings of this research pointed us to focus on implementing further visual aids that clarify and aid the written content.

Finalizing our ideation and concepts, we focused on features that elevated the real estate-specific content and focused on how the website will also translate to a responsive-first design approach so that users can still experience the website in a similarly cohesive and understandable fashion even through mobile means.
